simplismitten's Queens

HHave you ever seen rosettes as big as mine?

Wildside Simplismitten Uno

The latest bengal to join our household is Aysha - Wildside Simplismitten Uno, to be precise. She came to us as a kitten and has lived as a pet in the house ever since.

Aysha has an excellent pedigree, her father is the American import - Albright King Cobra who is sired by Quadruple Grand Champion Albright Starstruck x Albright Queen Cobra. King Cobra is the grandson of the well known RW QGCH Dicaprio of Starbengal and her Mother is Llandar Fanfare.

We purchased Aysha from Steve and Elaine at Wildside Bengals to further our bengal breeding programme and as a companion for our queen Indyasilk.

We have kept one of her kittens Simplismitten Last Empress who we call Emily she will have her first litter of kittens later this year.

Aysha is a much loved family pet who enjoys tearing round the house at 100 mph, leaping from the tops of doors at the most unexpected moments, and testing the bath water with her paws, as is the nature of the bengal cat.  She has the sweetest temperament and patrols the house chirping like a little bird.

I'm not quite as fierce as I look!

Glitterglam Bella Madonna

Roxy was our foundation queen - Glitterglam Bella Madonna to be correct, a brown spotted Bengal. She is a big girl, has lots of rufus colouring with large dark spots, a sweet temperament, lots of glitter and a very thick tail inherited from her father. We purchased her from Jill Fyfe of the Glitterglam prefix. Akerrs King of Spades X Glitterglam Miss Popadom

Her father is an American import from Libbie Kerr in the USA. He has an excellent pedigree with Supreme Grand Champions on either side. His father can be seen in the book 'Guide to the Bengal Cat' by Jean Mill. He is a very large, heavily set boy with beautiful rufus colouring, tremendous glitter and a lovely thick tail!

Simplismitten IndyaSilk

Daughter of Glitterglam Bella Madonna pictured above is SimpliSmitten IndyaSilk (Indya for short). Her father is Indykatz Houdini - (Indykatz White Wizard out of Indykatz Zeta) a superb stud with stunning rosetting and type.  He has a beautiful 'wild' looking face a long muscular body and superb temperament.

She has a wonderful if somewhat mischevious personality, is very loving, confident and laid back. She has a very light coat (carries snow) with good contrast and lots of glitter.

Simplismitten Last Empress

LastEmpress, daughter of Wildside Uno (picture top of page) known fondly as Emily. She is our youngest queen and soon to have her first litter we have put her to Starwinds Lestat who is a beautiful brown spotted stud belonging to Cynthia of Mojagato Bengals.

We wait patiently for her first litter to arrive!

Kaloke Willothewisp

Our Seal Point Siamese Queen pictured left is very special, she is pure seal going back several generations which is quite rare. Mary Key of Kaloke fame kindly agreed to let us purchase her as the foundation queen for our seal lines.

We are grateful to Kathy and Rose Debowska of Metexa prefix who have allowed us to use their stud, Stationary Sexbomb. Kittens will be due in April and a reserve list is already started.

Mishkana Mae Lee

Pictured right is Mishkana Mae Lee our black Oriental queen(Misha). She has a beautiful dense, shiny, black coat. Her breeder - Di North has had lots of success with Orientals so we have high hopes for Misha's kittens. She is sired by Grand Champion Mishkana Double O Seven. Her second litter of kittens were sired by Grand Champion Sinfonia Monte Verdi an exceedingly handsome seal point stud owned by Alice Fox of Reynards Prefix.

My name is Willow and this is my friend Misha we
like it here, the servants attend to our every whim.

Reynard's Ruby Tuesday

Bred by Alice Fox of Reynards Prefix who very kindly allowed us to have best of the litter. Her show biz career got off to a good start with a red card day(for those not in the cat world a red card day means she won all 4 of the classes she entered) at the Durham Cat Show.

Ruby has a wonderful personality, she wants to play all day long and will retrieve anything you want to throw for her and we get fed upof the game before she does.

Siamese Seal Point Pretty in Pink

Stoxhill Smitten in Blue

Our beautful, Siamese Blue Point queen, known as Lilli is pictured below. She had her 2nd litter of kittens to Grand Champion Porrima Beli Lom in 2004. This has given her instant promotion and she is now leader of the pack. She is a typical Blue Point Siamese in that she is the most vocal and always has to have the last word.

Lilli has a very loving temperament, a white coat and vivid blue eyes. She had 8 kittens in her first litter which consisted of 4 blue points, 2 chocolate points, 1 lilac point and 1 seal point. One of these choci point kittens made Grand Premier at the Supreme Cat show (see newspage) Since then she has had small litter of one or 2. They were gorgeous, however, 2 chocolate points, one of which we have kept as a potential breeding queen.
